So glad! Just got the message that the subsidy we applied for will be granted! It means financial benefit for the hours we spend on research and development for the LED's Move! Martyn de Jong conducted research on the question: "in which way can an implementation help to reduce the bustle at the blood test posts, and improve the process for patients?" He described the biography of his prototype Lab+, that aims to reduce this bustle. He asked Kosmo to give his input as digital interaction design expert, which of course he did with pleasure. The conclusion of the research is a.o. that is is possible indeed to develop such an app. Certainly in these corona-times it would be good if we can prevent many vulnarable people [ … ]

We are going to produce... There is interest for the former 'led curtain', so we want to make it available for many more people. Some time ago the Bartimeus Foundation gave us a 'curtain' with led lights on it. The idea was that games would run on it, that one could play by standing in front of it and use your body. Unfortunately it did not work. Our assignment was to make it work, and subsequently develop games for it. No sooner said than done. Scientist have done scientific research on the effect. Well, I guess we better write something about how the virus effects us, just as the rest of the world. For now several assignments have been postponed; they were meant for events in april, but of course the events do not take place. But we keep the spirits up! Some of us work at home, either because they would have to travel with public transport, or just to be sure. And some still come to Bussum by car or bicycle.
